Initial Submission Preparation
Authors are invited to submit their work reporting original research of a theoretical or applied nature using the online submission system, EDAS. The initial submission should capture the scope of the final paper and explicitly include the primary results and findings, emphasizing new advances, theories, and/or applications so that the program committee will be able to understand the originality and the value of the work.
The initial submission is a structured abstract for a Full Paper or Short Paper, reporting original research of a theoretical or applied nature, via the online submission system, EDAS. The Abstracts should be of 250 words and express clearly the purpose, topic and main results of your future paper.
The conference caters to both practitioners and academics. For this purpose, the format of submissions, following your initial structured asbtract, is divided into two categories, with different submission requirements. All tracks of technical paper submissions adhere to the following directions as well. Please carefully read the Author Instructions listed here to ensure an accurate submission.
IEEE EDUCON 2027 solicits original work not under consideration for publication in any other conference or journal. We welcome the submissions in the following categories:
Research and application papers:
Full Papers (8 pages maximum) are expected to be completed studies with defined findings and implications.
Short Papers (4 - 5 pages maximum) should present completed studies with clear findings and implications. While more concise than Full Papers, Short Papers are expected to demonstrate rigor in methodology, analysis, and relevance to the EDUCON community.
Workshops and Special Session papers:
Workshops & Panels (1 - 2 page maximum) are expected to include a list of goals for the session, a summary of the scope, an agenda, a description of the anticipated audience, attendees takeaway, any special requirements, your qualification to lead the session and contact information, and a zip file containing all headshots of the organizers.
Special Sessions (1 - 2 page maximum) are expected to include an overview summary of the session scope, the requirements of the session such as page limit, the topics of interest, Session chairs and their contact information, program committee members, and a zip file containing headshots of all Special Session Chairs.
**Please note all paper lengths include references.
MANDATORY: Initial Manuscripts MUST be fully anonymized to comply with EDUCON Double-Anonymous review process. No identifying author information may be present in your submitted manuscript.
For your convenience, the Conference Paper Template from IEEE is linked here. Please us this template when preparing your manuscript.
**High-quality papers that are accepted and presented will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by EI/Compendex
A submission implies a willingness to register and present the work if the paper is accepted for presentation at the conference. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Authors of accepted full papers must submit the final paper version according to the deadline, register for the workshop, and attend to present their papers. The maximum length for final papers is 6 pages without exceptions.
The submission should summarize the scope of the research, include primary results and findings, and emphasize new advances, theories or applications, so that the originality and implication of the research are clear. Papers that do not follow this format will be rejected as will papers above the specified limit.
**IEEE EDUCON 2027 will implement a double-anonymous review process. Please ensure your manuscripts are fully anonymized before uploading. No author or affiliation information should be present in your uploaded document.
While no author or affiliation information should be present in your uploaded document in keeping with our double-anonymous review process, all contributing authors must be added to the EDAS submission portal. No changes to the author listing may be made after the Preliminary Paper submission deadline. Please ensure all authors are fully accounted for in EDAS prior to the deadline. There will be no exceptions.
